उवाच तर्हि ते गर्भान्मुसलं कुलनाशनम् ॥ येन वृष्ण्यन्धकाः सर्वे गमिष्यन्ति यमक्षयम् ॥

uvāca tarhi te garbhān musalaṃ kulanāśanam || yena vṛṣṇyandhakāḥ sarve gamiṣyanti yamakṣayam ||

അപ്പോൾ അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു—‘നിന്റെ ഗർഭത്തിൽ നിന്ന് കുലനാശകനായ മുസലം ജനിക്കും; അതിനാൽ വൃഷ്ണ്യന്ധകർ എല്ലാവരും യമധാമത്തിലേക്ക് പോകും.’
