त्यक्त्वानङ्गं च मोहं च पित्रर्थाय स्त्रियं व्रजेत् ॥ द्वितीयां न स्पृशेन्नारीं लोभमोहात्कथंचन ॥

tyaktvānaṅgaṃ ca mohaṃ ca pitrarthāya striyaṃ vrajet || dvitīyāṃ na spṛśen nārīṃ lobhamohāt kathaṃcana ||

കാമവും മോഹവും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ച് പിതൃകാര്യാർത്ഥം (സന്താനം/ശ്രാദ്ധം) സ്വന്തം ഭാര്യയെ സമീപിക്കണം. രണ്ടാം ദിവസം ലാഭമോ മോഹമോ മൂലം യാതൊരു വിധത്തിലും സ്ത്രീയെ സ്പർശിക്കരുത്.
