Expiations for Ritual and Temporal Offences in Worship, and the Prescribed Purificatory Procedure

Upaspṛśya

तस्य वक्ष्यामि सुश्रोणि अपराधविशोधनम् ॥ प्रायश्चित्तं विशालाक्षि येन मुच्येत किल्बिषात् ॥

tasya vakṣyāmi suśroṇi aparādhaviśodhanam || prāyaścittaṃ viśālākṣi yena mucyeta kilbiṣāt ||

അതിന്, ഹേ സുശ്രോണി, അപരാധവിശോധനം ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു. ഹേ വിശാലാക്ഷി, ഏത് പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കൊണ്ടു പാപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മോചനം ലഭിക്കുമോ അത് ഞാൻ പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു.
