Expiations for Ritual and Temporal Offences in Worship, and the Prescribed Purificatory Procedure

Upaspṛśya

एवमुक्तस्य कर्त्तव्यं ममाभिगमनेषु च ॥ उपस्पृश्य तनुं वामे यदीक्षेत प्रियं मम ॥

evam uktasya kartavyaṃ mamābhigamaneṣu ca || upaspṛśya tanuṃ vāme yadīkṣeta priyaṃ mama ||

ഇങ്ങനെ ഉപദേശിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ എന്നിലേക്കു സമീപിക്കുമ്പോഴും ഇതേ ചെയ്യണം. ഉപസ്പർശം (ശുദ്ധിസ്പർശം) ചെയ്ത്, ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ഇടത് ഭാഗത്ത് എനിക്ക് പ്രിയമായ ലക്ഷണം/വസ്തു കാണുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ.
