बभूव तेषां प्रत्यक्ष ऋषीणां पापनाशनः । उवाच प्रणतान्सर्वान्किं वा कार्यं हृदि स्थितम्
babhūva teṣāṃ pratyakṣa ṛṣīṇāṃ pāpanāśanaḥ | uvāca praṇatānsarvānkiṃ vā kāryaṃ hṛdi sthitam
അപ്പോൾ പാപനാശകൻ ആ ഋഷിമാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി. പ്രണതരായ എല്ലാവരോടും അദ്ദേഹം—“നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ഏതു കാര്യം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു?” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
