कुलायस्य वशाद्देवि न तु भक्त्या कथंचन । कालेन महता तौ च पंचत्वं समुपस्थितौ
kulāyasya vaśāddevi na tu bhaktyā kathaṃcana | kālena mahatā tau ca paṃcatvaṃ samupasthitau
ഹേ ദേവി, ഇതൊന്നും ഭക്തിയാൽ അല്ല; കൂടിന്റെ (ആശ്രയത്തിന്റെ) വശത്താലായിരുന്നു. ദീർഘകാലത്തിനു ശേഷം അവർ ഇരുവരും മരണത്തെ പ്രാപിച്ചു.
