ईश्वर उवाच । एवमस्त्वित्यहं प्रोच्य पुनर्लिंगे लयं गतः । एतत्ते कारणं देवि प्रोक्तं सर्वमशेषतः
īśvara uvāca | evamastvityahaṃ procya punarliṃge layaṃ gataḥ | etatte kāraṇaṃ devi proktaṃ sarvamaśeṣataḥ
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു— ‘ഏവമസ്തു’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഞാൻ വീണ്ടും ലിംഗത്തിൽ ലയിച്ചു. ഹേ ദേവി, ഈ കാരണമെല്ലാം നിനക്കു പൂർണ്ണമായി, ശേഷമില്ലാതെ, പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു।
