ईश्वर उवाच । कल्पेकल्पे महादेवि अवतारं करोषि यत् । तेन ते स्मरणं नास्ति प्रभावात्प्रकृतेः प्रिये
īśvara uvāca | kalpekalpe mahādevi avatāraṃ karoṣi yat | tena te smaraṇaṃ nāsti prabhāvātprakṛteḥ priye
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ മഹാദേവി, നീ കല്പം കല്പമായി അവതാരം എടുക്കുന്നു; അതിനാൽ, ഹേ പ്രിയേ, പ്രകൃതിയുടെ പ്രബല സ്വാധീനത്താൽ നിന്റെ സ്മരണം നിലനിൽക്കുകയില്ല।
