“ആദ്യം ഞാൻ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ച ലിംഗത്തെ അർച്ചിച്ച്, തുടർന്ന് ഭക്തിയോടെ എന്നെ പൂജിക്കുന്നവൻ പരമപദം പ്രാപിക്കും.”
Gaurī (Pārvatī)
Tirtha: Gaurī-pratiṣṭhita Liṅga (later named Gaurīśvara) at Prabhāsa
Type: temple
Scene: A sacred liṅga said to be established by Gaurī stands in the shrine; a devotee performs archana to the liṅga first and then turns to worship Gaurī with folded hands, lamps, and flowers; the atmosphere is solemn, promising the ‘supreme state.’
Properly ordered worship (liṅga-pūjā followed by Devī-pūjā) performed with bhakti is linked to liberation-oriented merit.
Prabhāsakṣetra, specifically the liṅga said to be established by Gaurī and worshiped there.
First worship the Gaurī-established Śiva-liṅga, then worship Gaurī with devotion.
