അവിടെ പിണ്ഡദാനം ചെയ്താൽ ഗയയെക്കാൾ നൂറിരട്ടി പുണ്യം ലഭിക്കുന്നു, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയോടുകൂടിയ അമാവാസി ദിനത്തിൽ. ഭൂതാ തിഥിയിൽ അവിടെ പിണ്ഡം നൽകുന്നവൻ തന്റെ കുലകോടിയെയും ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
