तत्र कन्देश्वरो देवो यत्र बद्धा जटा मया । तत्र स्नात्वा नरः सम्यक्त्ं देवं यः प्रपूजयेत् । स मुक्तः पातकैर्घोरैः प्राप्नुयाच्छासनं शुभम्

tatra kandeśvaro devo yatra baddhā jaṭā mayā | tatra snātvā naraḥ samyaktṃ devaṃ yaḥ prapūjayet | sa muktaḥ pātakairghoraiḥ prāpnuyācchāsanaṃ śubham

അവിടെ കന്ദേശ്വരൻ എന്ന ദേവൻ വിരാജിക്കുന്നു; അവിടെയാണ് ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജടകൾ ബന്ധിച്ചത്. ആരെങ്കിലും അവിടെ വിധിപൂർവ്വം സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ഭക്തിശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ആ ദേവനെ പൂജിച്ചാൽ, അവൻ ഭീകര പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വിമുക്തനായി ശുഭമായ ദിവ്യാനുഗ്രഹം (ശാസനം) പ്രാപിക്കും.
