ഇങ്ങനെ ശ്രീസ്കാന്ദ മഹാപുരാണത്തിലെ ഏകാശീതിസാഹസ്രീ സംഹിതയിൽ, സപ്തമ പ്രഭാസഖണ്ഡത്തിലെ പ്രഥമ പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രമാഹാത്മ്യത്തിൽ ‘മാർകണ്ഡേശ്വരമാഹാത്മ്യവർണ്ണനം’ എന്ന 361-ാം അധ്യായം സമാപ്തമായി.
