तत्र विष्णोस्तु सांनिध्ये वायव्ये कुम्भमुत्तमम् । भल्लतीर्थं तु विख्यातं यत्र भल्लहतो हरिः
tatra viṣṇostu sāṃnidhye vāyavye kumbhamuttamam | bhallatīrthaṃ tu vikhyātaṃ yatra bhallahato hariḥ
അവിടെ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ സാന്നിധ്യത്തിൽ, വായവ്യ (വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറ്) ദിക്കിൽ ഒരു ഉത്തമ കുംഭം നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഹരി (വിഷ്ണു) ഭല്ല (അമ്പ്/ശൂലാഗ്രം) കൊണ്ട് ആഹതനായ സ്ഥലമായതിനാൽ അത് ഭല്ലതീർത്ഥം എന്നുപ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്.
