सुपर्णेन पुरा देवि पातालादमृतं हृतम् । गृहीत्वा तत्र मुक्तं तु नागानां पश्यतां किल
suparṇena purā devi pātālādamṛtaṃ hṛtam | gṛhītvā tatra muktaṃ tu nāgānāṃ paśyatāṃ kila
ഹേ ദേവി! പുരാതനകാലത്ത് സുപർണൻ പാതാളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് അമൃതം അപഹരിച്ചു; അത് കൈവശമാക്കി അവിടെയേ, നാഗങ്ങൾ നോക്കി നിൽക്കേ, അവൻ അത് വിട്ടുവിട്ടുവെന്ന് പറയുന്നു।
