उवाच चैनं नाधर्म्यं स्त्रीवधं परिपश्यसि । कथं धारयिता चासि प्रजा राजन्मया विना
uvāca cainaṃ nādharmyaṃ strīvadhaṃ paripaśyasi | kathaṃ dhārayitā cāsi prajā rājanmayā vinā
അവൾ അവനോട് പറഞ്ഞു—“സ്ത്രീവധം അധർമ്മമാണെന്ന് നീ കാണുന്നില്ലേ? രാജാവേ, എന്നെ കൂടാതെ നീ പ്രജകളെ എങ്ങനെ ധരിച്ചു പോഷിക്കും?”
