Transliteration

so'bhīhitaḥ prajābhistu prajāhitacikīrṣayā | dhanurgṛhītvā bāṇāṃśca vasudhāmārdayadbalī

Translation

പ്രജകൾ അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, അവരുടെ ഹിതം സാധിക്കണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ ആ ബലവാൻ ധനുസ്സും ബാണങ്ങളും എടുത്ത് വസുധയെ (ഭൂമിയെ) അമർത്തി വശപ്പെടുത്താൻ തുടങ്ങി।
