आवां देवानृषींश्चैव प्रीणयाव स्वकर्मभिः । न चास्य विद्वो वै कर्म न तथा लक्षणं यश
āvāṃ devānṛṣīṃścaiva prīṇayāva svakarmabhiḥ | na cāsya vidvo vai karma na tathā lakṣaṇaṃ yaśa
ഞങ്ങൾ നമ്മുടെ സ്വകര്മ്മങ്ങളാൽ ദേവന്മാരെയും ഋഷിമാരെയും പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. എങ്കിലും അവന്റെ കര്മ്മങ്ങളെ പൂർണ്ണമായി അറിയുന്നില്ല; അതുപോലെ അവന്റെ ലക്ഷണങ്ങളും യശസ്സും അത്രത്തോളം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.
