विष्णुरुवाच । श्रांतोऽहं देवदेवेश मल्लयुद्धेन शंकर । तप्तोदकं कुरुष्वेह श्रमनाशाय सांप्रतम्
viṣṇuruvāca | śrāṃto'haṃ devadeveśa mallayuddhena śaṃkara | taptodakaṃ kuruṣveha śramanāśāya sāṃpratam
വിഷ്ണു പറഞ്ഞു—“ഹേ ദേവദേവേശ ശങ്കരാ! ഈ മല്ലയുദ്ധം കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ശ്രാന്തനായി. ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ ഇവിടെ എന്റെ ക്ഷീണം നീങ്ങാൻ തപ്തജലം സൃഷ്ടിക്കൂ.”
