अवध्यो मे तलो देवाः पुत्रत्वे हि प्रतिष्ठितः । एवमुक्त्वा हृषीकेशं प्रभासक्षेत्रवासिनम्
avadhyo me talo devāḥ putratve hi pratiṣṭhitaḥ | evamuktvā hṛṣīkeśaṃ prabhāsakṣetravāsinam
‘ഹേ ദേവന്മാരേ! താലോയെ ഞാൻ വധിക്കാനാവില്ല; അവൻ എന്റെ പുത്രസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിതനാണ്.’ ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് പ്രഭാസക്ഷേത്രവാസിയായ ഹൃഷീകേശനെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചു।
