भित्त्वा वेगाद्धरापृष्ठं प्रविष्टाथ महीतलम् । यदायदाभवच्छ्रांता दह्यते वाडवाग्निना । तदातदा मर्त्यलोके याति प्रत्यक्षतां नदी
bhittvā vegāddharāpṛṣṭhaṃ praviṣṭātha mahītalam | yadāyadābhavacchrāṃtā dahyate vāḍavāgninā | tadātadā martyaloke yāti pratyakṣatāṃ nadī
വേഗത്തോടെ ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉപരിതലം ഭേദിച്ച് അവൾ ഭൂഗർഭത്തിലേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചു. എപ്പോഴെപ്പോഴാണ് അവൾ ക്ഷീണിച്ച് വാഡവ അഗ്നിയിൽ ദഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്, അപ്പോഴപ്പോഴാണ് ആ നദി മർത്ത്യലോകത്തിൽ വീണ്ടും പ്രത്യക്ഷമാകുന്നത്.
