विना तेन कथं पुत्र त्वया प्राणा विधारिताः । तां तथा जननीं प्राह स च बाष्पाविलेक्षणाम्
vinā tena kathaṃ putra tvayā prāṇā vidhāritāḥ | tāṃ tathā jananīṃ prāha sa ca bāṣpāvilekṣaṇām
“അത് കൂടാതെ, മകനേ, നീ പ്രാണനെ എങ്ങനെ നിലനിർത്തി?” എന്നു കണ്ണീർ മൂടിയ കണ്ണുകളുള്ള തന്റെ ജനനിയെ അവൻ അങ്ങനെ ചോദിച്ചു.
