अश्वत्थवाटिकायां च तमपश्य न्मनोरमम् । दृष्ट्वा रोदिति जीवंतं मुक्त्वा बाष्पमथाचिरम्
aśvatthavāṭikāyāṃ ca tamapaśya nmanoramam | dṛṣṭvā roditi jīvaṃtaṃ muktvā bāṣpamathāciram
അരയാൽത്തറയിൽ വെച്ച് അവൾ ആ മനോഹരനായ കുട്ടിയെ കണ്ടു. അവനെ ജീവനോടെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൾ കണ്ണീരൊഴുക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് കരഞ്ഞു.
