सूर्य उवाच । वरं वरय विप्रर्षे यस्ते मनसि वर्तते । तुष्टोऽहं तव दास्यामि यद्यपि स्यात्सुदुर्लभम्
sūrya uvāca | varaṃ varaya viprarṣe yaste manasi vartate | tuṣṭo'haṃ tava dāsyāmi yadyapi syātsudurlabham
സൂര്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ വിപ്രർഷേ, നിന്റെ മനസ്സിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന വരം തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കുക. ഞാൻ പ്രസന്നനാകുന്നു; അതി ദുർലഭമായാലും ഞാൻ നിനക്കു നൽകും.
