एवं कृत्वा नरो भक्त्या लभते जन्मनः फलम् । तीर्थेषु दानं वक्ष्यामि येषु यद्दीयते तिथौ
evaṃ kṛtvā naro bhaktyā labhate janmanaḥ phalam | tīrtheṣu dānaṃ vakṣyāmi yeṣu yaddīyate tithau
ഇങ്ങനെ ഭക്തിയോടെ ചെയ്താൽ മനുഷ്യൻ ജന്മത്തിന്റെ യഥാർത്ഥ ഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി ഞാൻ തീർത്ഥങ്ങളിലെ ദാനവിധാനം പറയുന്നു—ഏത് തിഥിയിൽ എന്ത് ദാനം നൽകണം എന്ന്।
