मुक्त्वैकां गुरुशुश्रूषां नान्यत्किंचिदसौ द्विजः । अकरोच्छोभनं कर्म दिवाप्रभृति नित्यशः
muktvaikāṃ guruśuśrūṣāṃ nānyatkiṃcidasau dvijaḥ | akarocchobhanaṃ karma divāprabhṛti nityaśaḥ
ഗുരുശുശ്രൂഷയായ ഒരൊറ്റ സേവനം ഒഴികെ ആ ദ്വിജൻ മറ്റൊരു പുണ്യകർമ്മവും ചെയ്തില്ല. പ്രഭാതം മുതൽ അവൻ നിത്യവും അശോഭനമായ അനാചാരത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
