atha te munayaḥ śāṃtāḥ samaloṣṭāśmakāṃcanāḥ | samāḥ śatrau ca mitre ca roṣarāgavivarjitāḥ

Translation

അപ്പോൾ ആ മുനിമാർ ശാന്തരായിരുന്നു; മണ്ണുകട്ട, കല്ല്, സ്വർണം എന്നിവയെ ഒരുപോലെ കണ്ടവർ. ശത്രുവിലും മിത്രനിലും സമഭാവം; ക്രോധവും ആസക്തിയും വിട്ടവർ.
