तान्दृष्ट्वा यष्टिमुद्यम्य भर्त्सयन्प रुषाक्षरैः । वाक्यैरुवाच तान्सर्वांस्तिष्ठध्वमिति भूरिशः
tāndṛṣṭvā yaṣṭimudyamya bhartsayanpa ruṣākṣaraiḥ | vākyairuvāca tānsarvāṃstiṣṭhadhvamiti bhūriśaḥ
അവരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ വടി ഉയർത്തി, കഠിനവാക്കുകളാൽ ശാസിച്ച് എല്ലാവരോടും—“നിൽക്കുവിൻ!” എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു; അവൻ അത്യന്തം ദുർമദനായിരുന്നു.
