Transliteration

śikhibhiḥ kokilābhiśca gīyamānaṃ tu ṣaṭpadaiḥ | mṛgairṛkṣairvarāhaiśca siṃhairvyāghraistathā paraiḥ

Translation

മയിലുകളും കുയിലുകളും വിളിച്ചൊലിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദത്തിൽ അത് മുഴങ്ങുന്നു; തേൻചീറ്റകളുടെ ഗാനംപോലെ ഗീതമാകുന്നു. അവിടെ മാൻ, ഋക്ഷം (കരടി), വരാഹം, സിംഹം, വ്യാഘ്രം എന്നിവയും മറ്റു ജീവികളും വസിക്കുന്നു.
