ईश्वर उवाच । उक्त्वैवं भगवान्देवस्तत्रैवांतरधीयत । सांनिध्यमकरोत्तत्र ततःप्रभृति शंकरः
īśvara uvāca | uktvaivaṃ bhagavāndevastatraivāṃtaradhīyata | sāṃnidhyamakarottatra tataḥprabhṛti śaṃkaraḥ
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു— ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ഭഗവാൻ ദേവൻ അവിടെയേ അന്തർധാനം ചെയ്തു. അതിനുശേഷം ശങ്കരൻ ആ സ്ഥലത്ത് തന്റെ സ്ഥിര സാന്നിധ്യം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു.
