ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि यत्र न्यंकुमती नदी । मर्यादार्थं समानीता क्षेत्रशांत्यै च शंभुना
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi yatra nyaṃkumatī nadī | maryādārthaṃ samānītā kṣetraśāṃtyai ca śaṃbhunā
ഈശ്വരൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—അതിനുശേഷം, ഹേ മഹാദേവി, ന്യങ്കുമതീ നദിയുള്ള സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് പോകണം; ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ മര്യാദയ്ക്കും ക്ഷേത്രശാന്തിക്കും വേണ്ടി ശംഭു അവളെ അവിടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു।
