एकः स्नाति सदा माघं प्रयागे नरसत्तमः । अन्यः पश्यति मामत्र फलं ताभ्यां समं स्मृतम्
ekaḥ snāti sadā māghaṃ prayāge narasattamaḥ | anyaḥ paśyati māmatra phalaṃ tābhyāṃ samaṃ smṛtam
മനുഷ്യരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ ഒരാൾ പ്രയാഗത്തിൽ മാഘമാസം മുഴുവൻ നിത്യസ്നാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; മറ്റൊരാൾ ഇവിടെ എന്നെ ദർശിക്കുന്നു—ഇരുവർക്കും ഫലം സമമാണെന്ന് സ്മൃതം പറയുന്നു.
