स्थातव्यमद्यप्रभृति क्षेत्रेऽस्मिन्नुमया सह । यस्मात्त्वया प्रभा लब्धा क्षेत्रेऽस्मिन्मत्प्रसादतः । तस्मात्प्रभासमित्येवं नामास्य प्रभविष्यति
sthātavyamadyaprabhṛti kṣetre'sminnumayā saha | yasmāttvayā prabhā labdhā kṣetre'sminmatprasādataḥ | tasmātprabhāsamityevaṃ nāmāsya prabhaviṣyati
ഇന്നുമുതൽ ഞാൻ ഉമയോടുകൂടെ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രഭൂമിയിൽ വസിക്കും. എന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ നീ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേ തന്നെ പ്രഭ (ദീപ്തി) ലഭിച്ചതിനാൽ, ഈ സ്ഥലം ‘പ്രഭാസ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധമാകും.
