तदर्धं तर्पणेनैव स्नानात्पादमवाप्नुयात् । तस्मात्सर्वप्रयत्नेन तत्र श्राद्धं समाचरेत्

tadardhaṃ tarpaṇenaiva snānātpādamavāpnuyāt | tasmātsarvaprayatnena tatra śrāddhaṃ samācaret

തർപ്പണം മാത്രം ചെയ്താൽ ആ പുണ്യത്തിന്റെ പകുതി, സ്നാനം ചെയ്താൽ നാലിലൊന്ന് ലഭിക്കും; അതുകൊണ്ട് സർവ്വശ്രമത്തോടും കൂടി അവിടെ ശ്രാദ്ധം ആചരിക്കണം.
