शोभितं चर्षिभिर्दिव्यैश्चातुर्विद्यैर्द्विजोत्तमैः । अत्रिश्चैव वसिष्ठश्च पुलस्त्यः पुलहः क्रतुः
śobhitaṃ carṣibhirdivyaiścāturvidyairdvijottamaiḥ | atriścaiva vasiṣṭhaśca pulastyaḥ pulahaḥ kratuḥ
ആ സ്ഥലം ദിവ്യ ഋഷിമാരാൽ ശോഭിച്ചിരുന്നു—ചതുര്വിദ്യയിൽ നിപുണരായ ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദ്വിജന്മാരാൽ—അത്രി, വസിഷ്ഠ, പുലസ്ത്യ, പുലഹ, ക്രതു മുതലായ മഹർഷിമാരാൽ।
