vedadhvanitaghoṣeṇa yajñahomāgnihotrajaiḥ | samāvṛtaṃ sarvamājyagaṃdhibhirucchritam

Translation

വേദപാരായണത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിധ്വനിക്കുന്ന ഘോഷം എല്ലാടവും മൂടിയിരുന്നു; യജ്ഞം, ഹോമം, അഗ്നിഹോത്രം എന്നിവയിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന നെയ്യിന്റെ സുഗന്ധം സർവ്വത്ര വ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു।
