ततः कृत्वा तपो घोरं कार्त्तिकेयेन भाभिनि । परदारापहारोत्थपापानां नाशहेतवे

അപ്പോൾ, ഹേ ദീപ്തിമതീ, അവിടെ കാർത്തികേയൻ പരസ്ത്രീ-അപഹരണത്തിൽ നിന്നുയരുന്ന പാപങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പാൻ ഘോരതപസ് ചെയ്തു।
