अप्स्वेकं प्लावयेत्पिण्डमेकं पत्न्यै निवेदयेत् । एकं वै जुहुयादग्नावेषा तु त्रिविधा गतिः
apsvekaṃ plāvayetpiṇḍamekaṃ patnyai nivedayet | ekaṃ vai juhuyādagnāveṣā tu trividhā gatiḥ
ഒരു പിണ്ഡം ജലത്തിൽ ഒഴുക്കിവിടണം, ഒരു പിണ്ഡം ഭാര്യയ്ക്ക് നിവേദിക്കണം, മറ്റൊന്ന് അഗ്നിയിൽ ഹോമമായി അർപ്പിക്കണം—ഇതാണ് ത്രിവിധ ക്രമം.
