dṛṣṭvā manorama tīrthaṃ sarasvatyabdhisaṃgame | cakāra hṛdi saṃkalpaṃ prati lomāvagāhane

സരസ്വതിയും സമുദ്രവും സംഗമിക്കുന്ന ആ മനോഹര തീർത്ഥം കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, പ്രതിലോമ അവഗാഹനം ചെയ്യുവാൻ അവൻ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദൃഢസങ്കൽപ്പം ചെയ്തു।
