त्विषिमान्धर्मपुत्रस्तु सोमो देवो वरस्तु सः । शीतरश्मिः समुत्पन्नः कृत्तिकासु निशाचरः
tviṣimāndharmaputrastu somo devo varastu saḥ | śītaraśmiḥ samutpannaḥ kṛttikāsu niśācaraḥ
സോമൻ തേജസ്സുള്ളവൻ—ധർമ്മപുത്രനും ശ്രേഷ്ഠദേവനും. ശീതളകിരണങ്ങളോടെ കൃത്തികകളിൽ ഉദ്ഭവിച്ച്, രാത്രിയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവനായി.
