yasyādyāpīha gāyanti purāṇe prathitaṃ yaśaḥ | tenāyaṃ sthāpito devo bhāskaro vāritaskaraḥ

പുരാണപ്രസിദ്ധമായ യശസ്സുള്ളവന്റെ കീർത്തി ഇന്നും ഇവിടെ ജനങ്ങൾ പാടുന്നു; അവനാൽ തന്നെയാണ് കള്ളരെ തടയുന്ന ഈ ഭാസ്കരദേവൻ സ്ഥാപിതനായത്.
