चतुःषष्टिर्महादेवि एवं ते परिकीर्तिताः । स्तोत्रेणानेन दिव्येन भक्त्या यः स्तौति चंडिकाम्
catuḥṣaṣṭirmahādevi evaṃ te parikīrtitāḥ | stotreṇānena divyena bhaktyā yaḥ stauti caṃḍikām
ഹേ മഹാദേവീ, ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ അറുപത്തിനാലു നാമങ്ങൾ പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ആരെങ്കിലും ഭക്തിയോടെ ഈ ദിവ്യസ്തോത്രംകൊണ്ട് ചണ്ഡികയെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ—
