देव्युवाच । कोऽसौ प्रत्यूषनामेति कथं लिंगं प्रतिष्ठितम् । कस्य पुत्रः स विख्यात एतन्मे वद शंकर
devyuvāca | ko'sau pratyūṣanāmeti kathaṃ liṃgaṃ pratiṣṭhitam | kasya putraḥ sa vikhyāta etanme vada śaṃkara
ദേവി ചോദിച്ചു—‘പ്രത്യൂഷ’ എന്ന നാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നവൻ ആരാണ്? ഈ ലിംഗം എങ്ങനെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കപ്പെട്ടു? ആ പ്രസിദ്ധൻ ആരുടെ പുത്രൻ? ഹേ ശങ്കരാ, എനിക്ക് പറയുക.
