māghe bhagastu vijñeyastvaṣṭā tapati phālgune | śatairdvādaśabhirviṣṇū raśmīnāṃ dīpyate sadā

മാഘമാസത്തിൽ ഭഗൻ അധിഷ്ഠാതാവെന്നു അറിയണം; ഫാൽഗുണത്തിൽ ത്വഷ്ടാ തപിക്കുന്നു. വിഷ്ണു സദാ പന്ത്രണ്ടു നൂറ് കിരണങ്ങളാൽ ദീപ്തനാകുന്നു.
