कुश उवाच । मां न जानासि चात्रस्थं कथं जीवन्प्रयास्यसि । युध्यस्व त्वं स्थिरो भूत्वा ततस्त्यक्ष्यसि जीवितम्
kuśa uvāca | māṃ na jānāsi cātrasthaṃ kathaṃ jīvanprayāsyasi | yudhyasva tvaṃ sthiro bhūtvā tatastyakṣyasi jīvitam
കുശൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ നില്ക്കുമ്പോഴും നീ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിന്നെ ജീവനോടെ എങ്ങനെ പോകും? സ്ഥിരനായി യുദ്ധം ചെയ്; പിന്നെ നീ ജീവൻ ത്യജിക്കും.
