एवं संमंत्र्य देवास्ते कैलासं पर्वतं गताः । ततस्तु नंदिना सर्वे निषिद्धाः समयं विना
evaṃ saṃmaṃtrya devāste kailāsaṃ parvataṃ gatāḥ | tatastu naṃdinā sarve niṣiddhāḥ samayaṃ vinā
ഇങ്ങനെ ആലോചിച്ച് ആ ദേവഗണങ്ങൾ കൈലാസപർവതത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി. എന്നാൽ മുൻകൂട്ടി അനുമതി/സമയം ഇല്ലാതെ വന്നതിനാൽ നന്ദി എല്ലാവരെയും തടഞ്ഞു.
