अथागत्य द्रुतं दूराद्बालेनानेन वंदिताः । दीर्घायुर्भव संदिष्टस्ततश्चायमनेकधा । पंचमे दिवसेऽस्यापि मृत्युर्देव भविष्यति
athāgatya drutaṃ dūrādbālenānena vaṃditāḥ | dīrghāyurbhava saṃdiṣṭastataścāyamanekadhā | paṃcame divase'syāpi mṛtyurdeva bhaviṣyati
പിന്നീട് ദൂരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വേഗത്തിൽ വന്ന് ഈ ബാലൻ ഞങ്ങളെ വന്ദിച്ചു. ഞങ്ങൾ അവനോട് ‘ദീർഘായുസ്സുള്ളവനാകുക’ എന്ന് അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവൻ അതിനെ പലവിധത്തിൽ ആവർത്തിച്ചു. എങ്കിലും, ഹേ ദേവാ, അവനിക്കും അഞ്ചാം ദിവസം മരണം സംഭവിക്കും.
