विडम्बयसि नो दारानजस्रं चास्य दर्शनात् । ततश्चैवापतल्लिंगं तत्क्षणात्तत्पुरद्विषः
viḍambayasi no dārānajasraṃ cāsya darśanāt | tataścaivāpatalliṃgaṃ tatkṣaṇāttatpuradviṣaḥ
അവർ പറഞ്ഞു—“നിന്റെ ദർശനം മാത്രത്താൽ തന്നെ നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ നിരന്തരം പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു!”—അന്നേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ത്രിപുരദ്വേഷിയുടെ ലിംഗം പതിച്ചു.
