अथ ते मुनयो दृष्ट्वा विकृतिं दारसंभवाम् । अजानन्तो महादेवं रुष्टास्तस्य महात्मनः

atha te munayo dṛṣṭvā vikṛtiṃ dārasaṃbhavām | ajānanto mahādevaṃ ruṣṭāstasya mahātmanaḥ

അപ്പോൾ ആ മുനിമാർ ഭാര്യമാരുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഉണ്ടായ ആ വിചിത്ര വികാരവികൃതിയെ കണ്ടു; അവൻ മഹാദേവനെന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാതെ ആ മഹാത്മാവിനോട് കോപിച്ചു.
