स्वच्छोदकसमाकीर्णं सुतीर्थं सुसुखावहम् । ततो गौरीमनुज्ञाप्य जाह्नवीसंगलालसः

svacchodakasamākīrṇaṃ sutīrthaṃ susukhāvaham | tato gaurīmanujñāpya jāhnavīsaṃgalālasaḥ

സ്വച്ഛജലത്തോടെ നിറഞ്ഞ ആ ഉത്തമ തീർത്ഥം മഹാസുഖദായകമായിരുന്നു. തുടർന്ന് ഗൗരിയുടെ അനുവാദം നേടി അദ്ദേഹം ജാഹ്നവി (ഗംഗ) സംഗമത്തിനായി ആകുലനായി.
