एवं च वसते तत्र जनः स्वर्गे तपोधन । यावत्पुण्यक्षयस्तावत्पश्चात्पातमवाप्नुयात्
evaṃ ca vasate tatra janaḥ svarge tapodhana | yāvatpuṇyakṣayastāvatpaścātpātamavāpnuyāt
ഹേ തപോധനേ! ജനങ്ങൾ അവിടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ പുണ്യം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നത്ര കാലം മാത്രം വസിക്കുന്നു; പുണ്യം ക്ഷയിച്ചാൽ പിന്നെ ആ നിലയിൽ നിന്ന് പതനം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
